I wrote a song a couple years ago...

I finally recorded it today:

Watch, share, love, care, make sure to change your underwear.

Today's Thing:

Self

I am my self

I'm always me.

If I wasn't

who would I be?

When I don't feel

my self I wonder

"Who am I now?"

and torn asunder.

I'm still me

and yet I'm not

How could it be

my self forgot.

When my self has

emptied out

from mistakes, anxiety

fear and doubt

I try to fill my

self up again.

And when I talk

to family and friends.

They say I should not

get too full

of my self, but

I say "bull!"

I trust the people

I know and love

but who else would I

be full of?

That's called cannibalism.
