Rejected by the New Yorker - Volume 9

In August I submitted 10 comics to the New Yorker. In December (last month) they finally let me know they didn't want them.

Here they are!

I planned to send 10 ideas a month starting with this batch, but after sending it I didn't have any more ideas.

I'll update again if I ever come up with any more!

Rejected: Folgers Jingle!

Folgers Coffee is having a contest!

People submitted their take on a Folgers Coffee jingle. It had to include their classic "The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup!"

I found out today that it was not one of the finalists.

That wasn't Folgers Coffee in my coffee mug at the end. Maybe they could tell...

Rejected by the New Yorker Volume 6!

Here are 4 more comics I submitted to the New Yorker magazine. They finally let me know last night that they do not want them.

I really would like to get one into the magazine some time, but I'm not expecting it any time soon. I like to draw these.

I finally got word back from the New Yorker that they rejected the 3rd comic I pitched.

I figured they would, but I wish they didn't take so long with their rejections.

MS Paint is the best comic medium.

I've always wanted to be a comic strip artist.

I used to do a couple comics: P 'n E and Impending Doom!

I submitted a couple comics to the New Yorker! I didn't think they'd accept them, and guess what?
