"I got interviewed for the great Good Stuff Kids Podcast! I blather on about writing music for children and their grown up! The podcast is great for anyone with kids! Do yourself a huge favor and check out all of the other episodes! Mike interviews everyone from Caspar Babypants to Laurie Berkner to the head writer of "Go Diego Go" to people who make great clothing for girls to... it goes on and on! Plus there is a top 4 + 1 list of songs (4 his children request and 1 classic he tries to get them to appreciate). It really is some of the best "Good Stuff"!


You really should go check it out! It's a great resource for parents!

* Says "Mmm-hmmm."

* Mentions her Twitch Channel.

I'm on the BCast sometimes, but I don't like to be because then I don't want to listen to the episode. Believe it or not, I don't like the sound of my own voice.

Day 75 - Ponder Couch Challenge Coin - 3/15/2015

I love the podcast "99 Percent Invisible".

A while back one of their episodes inspired me to design a flag for the Ponder Couch. I still hope someone will make that flag into a real flag for me to fly.

Today I listened to the newest episode of 99 Percent Invisible. It was about Challenge Coins. These coins originated in the military. They are for people to give each other as a sign of respect, thanks, love, etc.

There is a lot of meaning wrapped up in them. There is even a drinking game designed around them.

The episode talked about how many different groups now have Challenge coins: police, firefighters, even Jimmy Buffet! It got me to thinking...

I would love to have a Ponder Couch Challenge Coin.


Apparently anyone who can pay for it can design and mint up some Challenge Coins.

"99 Percent Invisible" talked to the guy behind coinforce.com . I looked at their site a little. I don't know for sure, but I imagine having your own Challenge Coin made isn't cheap. I probably can't afford it.

But that doesn't stop me from making a quick MS Paint design for one:

So if anyone wants to pay for this design to get made... I wouldn't say no.

I need some coins to get some coins!

B Movie Podcast

Hey Guys, I know it has been a while since I posted a podcast on here.  Today I have a new one.  This is the first episode of a B Movie podcast that I had been planning.  On it myself, and my friend Malaria discuss the classification system, or lack there of, of B movies.  We cover the first B movies we had both seen, and various others.  I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it!
