Day 323 - Phil Grimm! - 11/21/2015

Today's Thing-a-Day is Phil Grimm!

Phil is the Horde's answer to Gobblor!

I realized as I drew Gobblor that all of the MotU characters had counterparts. He-Man and Skeletor, Teela and Evil-Lyn, Fisto and Jitsu...

So I needed an Evil Thanksgiving character to be the Yin to Gobblor's Yang (or is it the other way around?).

Phil has an Evil Gravy Boat  and Cornucopia!

He's also got an evil skeleton face.


His lets and feet ended up weird. I drew one way too small so the other one ended up like that too. Maybe the picture is kind of a top-view of the figure?

If only I had money and space for more MotU figures...

Day 322 - Gobblor! - 11/20/2015

Today's Thing-a-Day Thing is Gobblor!

He is a Masters of the Universe (He-Man) action figure I made up for the Thanksgiving season!


I thought of the name and (inspired by Thrashor) decided to draw it to make it one step closer to a real thing.


I think of Gobblor as a good guy MotU. Even though I'm pretty sure all the MotU characters that end with an "er" or "or" sound are bad guys.

He comes with a detachable tail and a baster sword that you squeeze MotU slime out of!

So, Mattel, if you want to make my Gobblor character real and give me even like 1% of the money you make, I'd be very happy!

Heckle (Heck + Hell), I'd settle for a free figure.

Anybody wanna buy Thrashor for me?
