Improv that Guittter.

I made a couple Guitprov songs recently.

This one's about Rider Strong who played Shawn Hunter on Boy Meets World.

I woke up the other day with a Dashboard Confessional song in my head. It wouldn't leave. So I got it out by trying to improvise a DC-style song.

Watch 'em!

3 More Bumpers and a couple of Guitprov Songs!

I made 3 more Ponder Couch, Nickelodeon-style Bumpers!

They all use the same video footage, but have different soundtracks!

Yay!

I also made 2 new Guitprov songs!

From the youtube: I love the band Bracket (http://bracket.bandcamp.com) and they have been writing Warren's Songs for years.

They just released what I think might be the "last" Warren's Song which is part 28.

I think that's a shame. So I wrote a part 37 in the hopes that they'll fill in the songs inbetween.

And this one!

From more, other youtubes: "On the Road: By Jack Kero 'Wiggity' uac" is a stream-of-conscience song. I just played whatever my brain and fingers decided to do together. I didn't give it any forethought except that I planned on playing for at least 10 minutes.

Full disclosure: I've never read "On the Road". Should I?

Does my stream-of-conscience, out of tune banging and strumming go with Jack's stream-of-conscience words? Somebody please try to read or sing a section of the book over this "song". I would love to see that.

That's it for today!

Good Eats! and Burrito Baits!

I wrote a couple songs today:

I like to write silly MisterSeth songs about food!

Shares are always appreciated!

And there's this:

If you are a fisher-type person do yourself a favor and buy everything you can from him!

Guitprov Update.

I've been doing lots of videos on my Guitprov youtube page!

Here's the most recent:

It was inspired by H. Jon Benjamin's Jazz record!

I tried to buy a copy when I found out, but it was all sold out.

I should check for it again!

Lots More Guitprov!

I added more Guitprov videos!

I decided to start giving them dumb names related to pop culture things I like or Strongly Dislike.

That way, hopefully, more people will see them, watch the commercials, click on them, (maybe subscribe), and I'll get a few more bits of a penny towards quitting my job and making things full-time.

So watch! Click! Watch again! Share! Etc.!

Guitprov! It's a thing...

I started a new youtube account called "guitprov".

From the youtube "about":

This is an experiment in guitar improvisation! Each video will be an improvised song, usually instrumental, usually acoustic guitar. I plan to upload a new video at least a couple times a week, but we all know how well those kinds of things usually go. Basically this channel is a creative challenge to myself that I won't feel guilty about putting commercials on. My other channels are better.

Here are the first two videos:

So there they are!

Share them with everyone you know, watch them a million times, help the world fall in love again.

Day 278 - Guitprov - 10/7/2015

Today's Thing-a-Day Thing is me playing the guitar.

No song.

Just noodling, riffing, improvisation, messing around, something like that.

It's 5 minutes long.

You could put it on in the background for ambiance.

Like at a party or something.

A dinner party.

One where that friend who always brings their guitar and plays it at parties didn't bring their guitar.
